I was saddened upon hearing of Steve's passing. I didn't know Steve very well in recent times, but I have many fond memories of him when we were growing up in elementary school at Bentley. Steve was my best friend then, and we spent many days together at his house having lots of fun snowmobiling, biking, and growing up in the process. I remember well the time when the basement got flooded out up to the basement stairs. In our later school years at Bentley we somehow drifted apart as sometimes happens in high school. But I still remember Steve as a very nice and honest person, and especially a true friend. I am sorry for your loss. \ \ Sincerely,\ \ David C. Maschino\ Benley Class of '82

Steve was a sweet, kind soul. He always seemed to keep a positive attitude and smile. He would always gladly reach out to help anyone that needed help. He would'nt hurt a fly. \ I have heard from alot of folks that he helped in his work along the way, and want to thank everyone that stopped by his funeral services to send condolences. I will truely miss my brother Steve. A short poem\ God saw you were getting tired And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you And whispered 'Come to me.'\ A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

My sister and I own a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu which we purchased at Randy Wise Chevrolet. Whenever we had to bring in the car for service Steve was the one who usually waited on us. In fact we usually made it a point to go to his station if we could. He was always very friendly and courteous and made extra efforts to help us with whatever problem we had. He provided the customer service which is rare today. Our prayers go out to the family. God Bless you.\
