BUTTARS, Barry G. Sr., age 58 of Lennon, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Bishop Carl Pangerl officiating with burial following in Flint Memorial Park. Barryas family will be present to receive friends from 3:00pm - 9:00pm Sunday and from 10:00am until 11:00am Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Barry was born on September 6, 1947 in Logan, Utah, son of Mr. & Mrs. Maurice and Sula (Gunels) Buttars. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was wounded in action, thus receiving The Purple Heart. He married Laurinda Conley on April 24, 1994 in Lennon, Michigan. Barry first worked for GM and later for the U.S. Postal Service in Flint as a Mail Handler, retiring in 1995. He loved his yard work and watching westerns and the Price is Right on television. \ \ Surviving are his wife, Laurinda; two children, Barry G. and wife Melinda Buttars Jr. of Mt. Morris, Beverly Ann Naddaf of Perry; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Andrea, Jessica, Barry III, Brandon, Bridgett, Brittany, and Haley; one brother, Rodney and wife Maggie Buttars of Texas; three sisters, Sue Bradsby of Utah, Beverly Plain of Utah, Debbie and husband Bill Threet of Clio; mother-in-law, Particia Conley of Mt. Morris; brothers-in-law, Oliver and wife Kindra Conley and family, David and wife Amy Conley and daughter; sister -in-law, Katherine and husband John Losinski and family; numerous nieces and nephews.\ \ Barry was preceded in death by his father, Maurice; mother Sula; and older brother Robert Buttars Sr. \
