Obituary of Wayne Horton

Of Flint, Age 64, died Saturday June 10, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-3pm and 4-9pm, and Tuesday from 12pm until time of service at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Wayne was born December 29, 1941 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmond C. and Thelma (Rye) Horton. He and Jayne were united in marriage on June 6, 1968. Wayne spent most of his free time talking on his C.B. radio, his handle was "motor doctora.\ \ Surviving are his wife Jayne, children Debra Jones, Raymond and wife Kathy Johnson, and Phillip Horton, grandchildren Julie and Ricky Williams, Matthew Johnson and Laura Johnson, great grandchildren Alexis Williams and Ricky D. Williams, sisters Mona Burgess and Nita Horton, brother Jerry Horton, many nieces and nephews.\ \ Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Emmond C. and Thelma (Rye) Horton, brother Robert Horton, sisters Ruth Schofield and Bertha Love.\
