Greetings to the Hoyt Family,\ \ Dottie and I express our deepest condolences to each of you. Many years have gone by as we each find our place in live. \ \ I must reminisce a bit as think of the times our families spend with the Hoyt family. Jackie provided care for Jeff and me in our childhood at various time. I remember, though vaguely, going with her to the Methodist Church for Summer Vacation Bible School. I am convinced that God used her in my early years to set the course of where He has brought me today. We can never underestimate the influence we have on peopleas lives and I recognize that of Jackie on my life. I consider Jackie having a part in what God continues to do in my life and the now 25 years in ministry sixteen served in West Africa.\ \ Also the family memories of visiting Ted and Jackie in their little duplex on Walker Street, going out on the farm where Butch lived and having Lori as a baby sitter (that surely must have been the best thing for a 10 year old boy!) Of course, Joey joined in later with us kids. \ \ So many memories, I can only wish it were possible to have been with you all over the past weeks yet I am confident that our Father provides much comfort in such times. It's always sad to loose a loved one. My thoughts are with you. I know that she is in a better place. Her life the past few years were not the quality of life that she wanted. I will always remember the time that she visited Colorado. We had such a great time, sight seeing and talking. We talked a lot and ate a lot also. Lots of laughs and fun . Laura, I am so sorry to hear of your mom'a passing.God certainly gave her a long life. I remember her well. She was always kind to me. I think of her with fond memories. She was always looking to help in any way she could. She had a servants heart. I hope you are well Laura. \ Gary and I are fine. We still have two kids at home that we enjoy.
