TINKER, William I. age 76 of Mt. Morris died Friday, June 30, 2006 at his home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris, Reverend Fr. Thomas Nenneau officiating, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Williamas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 noon to 4:00 and from 5:00 to 9:00; on Thursday William will be taken to church where he will lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be considered to the American Lung Association, envelopes are available at the funeral home and at church. \ \ William was born January 6, 1930 the son of William A. and Leah G (Buck) Tinker. He and Margaret Corr were united in marriage November 5, 1955 in Flint. He was employed for 32 years at Ternstedt retiring in 1989. William served in the Korean Conflict with the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and working on his old cars. \ \ William leaves to cherish his memory 4 children:\ Mary and husband Nick Yaklin, of Clio,\ Timothy Tinker, of Flint,\ Cheryl and husband Mel Elkins, of Lansing, and\ Mark, and wife Mary Tinker, of Millington,\ 4 grandchildren: Amber, Klye, Eric, and Michelle,\ sister Joann Pearsall, of Fenton,\ brother Robert and wife Jan Tinker, of St. Helen, \ sister in law Norma Tinker, of Fenton, and many nieces and nephews.\ He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, sister Patricia, and brother Richard.\
