Obituary of Dolores Converse

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Brians House Hospice. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Keith Childerhose will officiate with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. JoAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 9:00 until 9:00pm, Sunday, from 9:00am until time of service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers direct memorial contributions to Brians House-Davison. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dolores "Jo" was born March 17, 1932 in Juniata Township, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Lucille (Freeman) Sutherby. She and Earl Leroy Converse were united in marriage on September 10, 1955. Earl preceded her in death August 5, 1992. Dolores was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Gordon R. Bennett Post # 1452 in Clio and a member of the Red Hats Society. She loved to bake, help others, crafts and play games. Dolores leaves to cherish her memory her 9 children; Jane Evans, James Wilson, Janet and husband, James Grady, Earlene and husband, Donnie Mann, Kate and husband, James McGivern, Christopher Propes, Inez and husband Louie McBrayer, Michelle McDaniel, Coleen and Scott Rygg; 2 brothers; Delbert Sutherby, Norman and wife, Melinda Sutherby 2 sisters; Gloria and husband, Wendell Phelps, Charlotte and husband, Dennis O'Connor; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Dolores was preceded in death her parents, husband Earl, daughters; Elizabeth Ann, and Yvonne Propes and her brother, Joseph.
