Obituary of Anthony "AJ" J. Faur

Age 22 of Flint, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Funeral services will be held 10:00 Monday, October 30,2006 at SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio, Rev. Fr. Gerald Ploof officiating with cremation to follow. Family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday and 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday. Monday morning AJ will be taken to lie in state at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be considered to Survivors of Suicide or Paralyzed Veterans of America. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and at church. AJ was born February 4, 1984 in Flint, Michigan son of Mr. & Mrs. Sam and Cynthia (Collins) Faur. He graduated from Kearsley High School, Class of 2002. He was currently a junior at Mott Community College majoring in business. AJ was an avid race car enthusiast and fabricator of high performance stock cars at his fathers shop, Windpushers. He loved bowling, singing karaoke and had a fantastic sense of humor loving to debate any current political issues. He was selfless in his dedication to the care of his grandfather, Roy Collins, for the past six years. AJ is survived by his mother, Cynthia and husband Dave Tuttle of Genesee Twp.; father, Sam and wife Cynthia Faur of Mt. Morris; brother, Chad and wife Tina Faur of Minnesota; sister, Christina and husband, Rob Blackall of Petoskey; step brother and sister, James and Becky Tuttle; nieces and nephews, Ashley and Griffin Faur and Eric and Lila Blackall; grandparents, Roy and Laura Collins; uncle, Steven Collins; special relatives the Standish family of Flint; very special friends, Mellisa and Travis; numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Salomie Faur, and his uncle, Pete Faur.
