Kuzava, Bernard J. Jr. age 75 of Clio died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at his home. Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday November 9, 2006 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau officiating, and burial in Flint Memorial Park. Bernardas family will be present at the Miles Martin Funeral Home to receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm., on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Wednesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the rosary at 6:00pm. On Thursday morning, Bernie will be taken to church to lie in state from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon. Memorial donations may be considered to St. Mary Catholic Church or Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes available at the funeral home and at church. Bernard was born June 2, 1931 in Flint the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Sr. and Ida (Szucs) Kuzava. He served in the US Navy from 1950-1954 during the Korean Conflict on the USS Saufley, as a Boilerman Fireman. Upon his return to Flint in 1956, he went to work in the family business, Genesee Fence. He worked in a variety of capacities in the business, and served as company president from 1989 until his retirement in 1995. He and Cheryll Bryson were united in marriage July 19, 1980. Bernie was a member of IFIA, St. Mary Catholic Church, and was an avid fisherman, and family man. Morris, Todd and wife Becky Jackson of Allegan, Darren Jackson of Clio, Grandchildren, Adam, John, Jenna, Evan, George, Blake, Amanda, Jordan, Ben, Tyler, Taylar, Kristin, Noah, Kristin and husband Paul, and Nicholas, Mother Ida Kuzava of Mt. Morris, 2 Sisters Ida and husband Mike Moody of Weed, California, Mary and husband Gary Pike of Mt. Morris, Mother of his Children Patricia Joanne (Ferkany) Kuzava, 3 Sisters-in-Law Lillian Kuzava, Judy and husband Bill Brodie, Linda Bryson and Joe Pintar, and many nieces and nephews. Bernard was preceded in death by son Daniel, father Bernard Sr., and Brother Frank.\
