Joey and Debbie,\
\
My mother just told me yesterday of your terrible loss. I was shocked and very sad to hear about it. You are both in my prayers as are the rest of your family. I wish I could have been there to tell you in person how sorry I am. Even though Joey and I weren't close friends after elementary I went to a few of the hockey games in played in and I know how much your dad cared about you. He'll always be there for you both by your side, watching over you because he loved you so much.\
Praying for you,\

I'm so sorry for your loss. Tom was such a good person. I'm lucky to have had him as a friend! He always had that grin on his face and a funny story to tell. I believe Joe is just like him. I was so impressed with Joe while he talked about his dad at the service. Love, Tricia, Chris, Jessica, Katie and Justin.

To Joe's family: I am very sorry for your loss. Family is a very important part in one's life. I know how u all are feeling, and hope that you all keep strong. god bless you all, and know that now he is with you all every step of the way.\
I've only known Joe for a short time now. I met him back in May, first coming down from Brooklyn, NY. We officially met when I began to work for the Acedemic Advising and Careers Center in September. He is such a great person. He makes me laugh wihout even trying; everyone should have a "Joe" in their life. ^_^ He is also very strong. I too, lost my father, however i was a bit younger than Joe and what I am now. Im sure that Joe and his dad had the strongest of bonds. To continue living life and deciding to go through with playing his game...for his father...shows Joe's strength. stay strong Joe. I know we may not be that close....but just know that I am here for if u need anything. keep ur head up and stay focused. the wolverines need u. ^_^ \
\
Yup i went to ur game...had a blast...cheered fr u...and will be at every other hom game to come. ^_^ we're rooting for u #14. Your father is always with you. Just think..now, insted of him coaching you...hes playing by ur side. ^_^\
much love N support. ~~~shavonne

We are so sorry for your loss. I will never forget all \
the memories made growing up in our neighborhood w/ Tommy\
and all the other kids. There was never a dull moment, \
and Tommy was always so much fun...........the silly \
pranks we pulled on everyone, the camps, walking to the\
corner for school and we won't forget Tom driving his\
motorcyle up and down the road. He was always smiling\
and laughing.........this summer he was \
talking to me, Rod, & my parents......he had us laughing\
w/ his stories. He always remembered what cars we \
drove when we were young. I know he was a great \
brother-in-law to Bobby and a great Uncle to Nick....\
always taking the time if Nick needed his help with \
something. Family was important to Tommy. \
His smile and laugh will never be forgotten.\
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.\
Love, \
Debbie & Rod\

Deb & Joe, \
I am so very sorry to hear about Tom. I worked with him at the Bay County Civic Arena quite a few years back, but I never will forget him. He was an honest, trustworthy, friendly man who never stopped looking for the good in everyone. Whether he would be telling stories about something as simple as hanging wallpaper or teaching me to drive the zamboni he would find some humor in it and just laugh his laugh. He was a wonderful person, who will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

This just doesn't seem real. Tom loved both of you so much. Debbie, you are the love of his life and he cherished you. Joe, every time your dad mentioned your name, you could see how proud he was of you. Those eyes would just sparkle.\
\
I've never not known Tom. Seems like as far back as I can remember, the Berrys have been in my life.\
How I long to hear him say "Hey Juuuuuuude!" and hear that distinct giggle he had. I am going to miss him. He was one of a kind.
