Obituary of Michael Leroy Luther

LUTHER, Michael Leroy\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 55, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:30 pm, Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday from 11:00am to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Friday from 11:30am until time of service at 1:30pm. Memorial donations may be considered to a family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Michael was born September 21, 1952 in Asheville, NC the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy and Carolyn (Holcombe) Luther. He and Zona Berry were united in marriage in July 1977. Mike was employeed at Buick City as a fork truck driver and machine operator for 30 years, retiring in 2006. He was member of UAW Local # 599, and spent 10 years in the Airforce, serving in Italy and Korea.\ \ Mike leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Zona, 3 sons: Jamie Berry, Dennis Luther, and West and wife Lori Luther, 2 grandsons Michael "Doodlea and Austin, mother Carolyn "Janet" Poe, brother Danny Luther, 4 sisters Robin and husband Eddie Davidson, Teresa Camilli, Lisa and husband Kenneth Williams, and Vikki and husband Brian Moore and many nieces and nephews.\ \ He was preceded in death by his father, 2 nephews Eddie, and Kenny,and 2 uncles Melvin, and JB.\ \
