Of Indianola, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. A Life Celebration will take place 1:00pm, Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris, with burial to follow in Columbiaville Cemetery. Family will greet friends and loved ones 1:00pm until 8:00pm Friday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\

Ruth was born January 15, 1932 in Vicko, Kentucky the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Ester (Bagley) Frye. She worked at Ternsted, retiring after 39 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and an excellent listener.\
\
Surviving are her 2 daughters Bonnie (Sami) Youhanna, Madonna Deaton, her son Rodney (Sandy) Lawson, several grandchildren, great grand children, many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.\
\
She was preceded in death by husband Paul Lawson, her parents and children Kenneth, Debbie and Harry Lawson\
