Obituary of Helen Ilean De Shano

Of Mt. Morris, age 76, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Genesys Hospice of Grand Blanc. The funeral service will take place 10:30am, at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Harvey Fry will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. Family will greet loved ones from 1:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday and from 9:30am until the time of service. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\

Helen was born December 24, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Idell (Chumney) Tinin. She and Edmund Joseph De Shano were united in marriage 1952 in Flint. She worked GM Ternsted for 16 years, retiring in 1960. Family would like to thank Genesys-Riverbend Hospice.\

She is survived by daughter Karen De Shano, grandaughter Evonne De Shano, great grandaughters Emily and Ashley Owens, sisters; Shirley (Robert) Leach Tinin of Linden, Linda Hardesty of Flint and several nieces and nephews.\

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Edmund Joseph De Shano and her parents.\
