Obituary of Kevin J. Simmonds

Age 31, of Otisville died Friday, November 23, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Otisville with burial to follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home Monday 6:00pm to 8:00pm and all day Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Kevin will be taken to church to lie in state from 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Otisville. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Kevin was born November 3, 1976 in Flint the son of Mr. And Mrs. Daniel J. and Billie Dawn (Goodman) Simmonds. He attended and graduated from Lakeville High School and worked as an electrician with several residential contractors in the Flint and Waterford areas, as well as at Chrysler-Ford Robotics. Kevin enjoyed moto-cross riding and trail riding as well as hunting and fishing. He thoroughly enjoyed his pets; 2 dogs and a kitten he received as a recent birthday present. His kind heart will never be forgotten. \ \ Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Dan and Billie Dawn Simmonds of Otisville, brother, Daniel J. and wife Holly Simmonds of Swartz Creek, sister; Jennifer and husband Shanen Knickerbocker of Clio, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friend, Bridgette Collins.
