Obituary of Carl Eugene Turner

Of Fairgrove, age 83 died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.\
Carl was born March 18, 1924, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Frank and Mellie (Wice) Turner in Akron. \
Carl was a graduate of Akron High School class of 1942.\
He worked at the Turner Homestead family farm for 44 years retiring in1980. Carl enjoyed his rose garden, Tiger baseball, classical music, reading books and was loved by all his family and friends.\
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Avis (John) Marker Browning, niece Lana K. (Dave) Bacon of New York State, nephew Eugene L. (Patti) Marker, of Saginaw, nephew, Ronald F. (Karen) Marker of Akron, several grand nieces and nephews, and many friends.\
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lois Bourcier.\
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday December 1, 2007 at Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove . Pastor Phil Whipple will be officiating with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:30 am. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Colwood United Brethern Church in Caro. \
Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\
