Obituary of Ethel V. Cox

Of Montrose, age 81, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at her home after a long illness. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Ethel was born January 27, 1926 in Mt. Morris, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Mildred (Rose) Reed. She and Burton Guy Cox were united in marriage in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Burton and wife Whanita Cox, Jr., Sandy Meek, Jerry Cox, Kaye and husband Ron Draper, Bill and wife Debbie Cox, Rick and wife Lori Cox, Randy and wife Mary Cox, Tim Cox, 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, special friends, Anna Mae and Raymond Swartz, several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Burton, son, Robert, grandson, Ryan Cox, son-in-law, Chuck, a brother and three sisters.
