Obituary of Rita Catherine Bogie

Age 72, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, December 10, 2007 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Chaplain Bob Coen will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Rita's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm. \

Rita was born February 28, 1935 in Bentley, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Henrietta (Fox) Pittenger. She resided in Mt. Morris for the last 44 years.\

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons; Jim and Cathy, Steve and Amie and Dave and Michelle, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters; Monnie and Ernie Swain, Judy and Neil Cooley, brother, Alan and Peg Pittenger, and special friends, Sharon and Jim Odette.\

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ray Bellah, McLaren Hospital, Heartland Fostrian Manor and Heartland Hospice.\
