Obituary of JoAnn Kay Edwards

Of Mt. Morris, age 56, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at her home. A Life Celebration will take place at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Walter Reynolds will officiate with cremation to follow. JoAnnAaas family will greet friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2008 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Tuesday, from 9:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. JoAnn was born January 17, 1951 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay and Evelyn (Streu) Warner. JoAnn was united in marriage to Danial Edwards on December 29, 1979. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, lighthouses and hot air balloons. JoAnn was an avid card player and a member and treasurer of the Mt. Morris Lioness Club. JoAnn retired from the Flint Post Office after over 20 years of service. JoAnn is survived by her husband Danial of 28 years, one sister; Darlene (Jerry) Reynolds of Mt. Morris, brothers; Calvin (Joan) Warner and Melvin (Carol) Warner, both of Clio and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents.
