Steven was born in Flint, Michigan, on July 10, 1960, to Janice (Davis) and Steven Jaksa, Sr. He was a self-employed mechanic for most of his life. He was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything. So many relied on him for his knowledge and skills. One of Steven's greatest accomplishments was building his 1967 Cutlass convertible from the ground up. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, and enjoyed cruises in the country with his lifelong partner, Mary. They traveled wherever the wind would blow them. He also enjoyed fishing at "the honey hole," always in pursuit of "Big Jake."
Steven's grandchildren, Chase and Cooper, meant everything to him. He enjoyed every minute spent with them, always playing and laughing and teaching them everything he knew. Steven had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody.
He leaves behind his spouse of 40 years, Mary, their daughter Laura (Nathan), grandchildren, Chase and Cooper, and his siblings, Caleen (Chris), Tammy, Kathy (Terry), Tony (Pam), several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Sandy, Doris, and Mike.
