Obituary of Helen Rose Beals

Age 93 of Flint died January 22, 2008 peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
The Funeral Service will take place 1:30pm, Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Rev. Fr. Louis Ekka will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, and Friday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. On Friday evening, family, friends and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray a Scriptural Rosary at 5:30pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Helen was born March 26, 1914 in Mt. Morris the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Rose (Egan)Traver. She and Walter were united in marriage in 1939 at St Mary Catholic Church.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris, the St. MaryAaas Altar Society and volunteered many hours of her time to the church. She was the president of her Laryngectomy Club. Helen love to Square Dance, Roller Skate.
Left to cherish her memory are son; Charles and wife Sandra Beals, grandchildren; Jonathan and wife Donna Glass, great grandchildren; Richard, Monique, Crystal, Nathan, many nieces and nephews. Helen preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Patrick.
