Obituary of Pearl L. Lahrman-Dodge

Age 76, of Pamona Park, Florida, formerly of Clio, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at her home in Florida. Funeral service will take place 11:00am Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. Pastor Erwin Kostizen officiating with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. PearlAaas family will be present to receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday morning from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Haven Hospice of Florida or Messiah Lutheran Church. Envelopes are available at the church. Pearl was born June 22, 1931 in Flint the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Inies (McDaniel) Smith. She and Menzo Dodge, Sr. were united in marriage October 4, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1987. She later met Dale Lahrman and they were married July 13, 1996. Pearl was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dale, Daughters; Faye L. Whipple, Belinda and husband George Taylor, Son, Menzo and wife Deneil Dodge, 10 stepchildren, five grandchildren; Aaron and wife Stacy Whipple, Jason Dodge, Michael Taylor, Adam and wife Heidi Dodge and Elyse Dodge, many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers; Raymond, Jr. and Barbara Smith, Delane and wife Sheryl Smith, sisters; Anna and husband Marvin Happs, Diane Anderson, special friends, Jane and Tom Savage, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Menzo Dodge Sr., two sisters; Mary and Elizabeth and a grandson, Andrew.
