Obituary of Arold Maynard Seeley

Arold "Bob" M. SEELEY Of Birch Run, age 80, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will take place 11:00am on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Miles Martin Funeral Home and burial will follow at Birch Run Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home 5-9pm Saturday, 11am Aa" 9pm Sunday and 10:00 until time of service at 11am on Monday. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to VFW Post 7542. Arold was born March 19, 1922 in Freemont Twp. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. and Beatrice (Parks) Seeley. He and Shirley Anderson were united in marriage Sept. 11, 1954 in Rudyard, Michigan. She preceded him in death Nov. 18, 2005. Arold served his country during WWII in the US Navy where he reached the rank of BM 3. He retired from General Motors as a trouble shooter after 42 years of service. Arold was a member of several organizations including VFW Post #7542 and UAW Local #599. Left to cherish his memory are, Children, Diane and husband Rodney Duford of Midland, Robert A. and wife Valentina Seeley of Dearborn, Raymond J. and wife Michelle Seeley of Flint; Grandchildren, Jade Rudy Christopher Rudy, Katherine Seeley and Rachel Seeley; Great Grandchildren, Dakota, Nickolus, McKenzie, Brandon; Brothers and sisters, Arlin, Beatrice, Donald, Ilah and Maxine. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley and brother, Fred Seeley.
