Obituary of Bonnie Sue Perior

Of Genesee, age 78, went home peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am, Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Pastor Bruce Nowacek will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. BonnieAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00pm until 3:00pm and 5:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Genesee United Methodist Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bonnie's family would also like to extend a special thank you to Jeri, Kathy and the entire staff of Avalon Hospice for all the loving care shown toward Mom. Bonnie was born March 22, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew and Pearl (Gifford) Brown. She and Bud Perior were united in marriage in on July 1, 1950 in Flint. Bonnie was a very devoted wife, mother and friend to all. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and enjoyed spending winters in Florida for over 20 years. Bonnie also looked forward to her Friday Card Club with her special friends. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Bud Sr.; six children, Douglas (Cherie), Bud Jr., Paul (Laurie), Keith (Mary), Inga, Gloria (Shawn Slattery); 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Darlene, Nita, Katie and Dot; her special dog, Nikki and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her very special in-laws and several siblings.
