Josh was born in Houston, Texas, on February 25, 1991, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Alan and Nancy Lynn (Patrick) Rancour. Educated locally, Josh graduated from Kearsley High School with the Class of 2009. While in high school, Josh played on the varsity baseball team until his graduation. Since graduation, he has played for a men’s softball league every summer. Josh worked for Greek Town Casino as a dealer at the Texas Hold Em table. An avid golfer, Josh golfed on a league at IMA Brookwood Golf and Banquet Center in Burton. Josh loved spending time with his family and friends and attending family gatherings. He had a strong, tight group of friends, could talk to anyone, was very caring and kind-hearted, and above all, he lit up every room he walked into. His caring and kind-hearted nature would continue even after his passing as he was a Gift of Life donor, helping three people. Josh will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Josh’s memory are his parents: Gregory and Nancy Rancour; grandparents: Jerry and Nancy Rancour, Hazel Guynn; aunts and uncles: Debby and Ken Wells, Judy Wells, Joe Rancour, Jeff Rancour, Michael and Marcia Patrick and many cousins, family members and friends.
