Our hearts ache for your loss.. Steve was such a great guy, always willing to help out in any way that he could...In fact the night before the accident he was over taking care of my mom's driveway, plowing the fresh snow...I remember when Peg and I would walk Neil and Steve to school at Montague Elementary. He was a great friend to Neil and they had lots of special moments together. I can say without a doubt that they were true brothers.. Steve will be truly missed. We will never forget his quiet smile...Our prayers are with you. Love, Tina and Tim

I remember the first time you walked into the place as a twenty-one year old kid. You experienced your first safety meeting and you said to me, I'm going to fit in well at C & L Ward. Though I only new you for 9-years, it has been a pleasure to watch you grow as an employee and great friend. I am going to miss you and your enthusiasm for life. \
Your one liners through out the day like:(Priceless)\

IAaam Free\
\
DonAaat grieve for me, for now IAaam free\
IAaam following the path He made for me.\
I took His hand when I heard him call\
I turned my back and left it all. \
\
I could not stay another day\
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.\
Tasks left undone must stay that way\
I found His peace at Dawn that day.\
\
If my parting has left a void\
Then fill it with remembered joy.\
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss\
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.\
\
Be not burdened with times of sorrow\
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.\
My lifeAaas been full, I savored much\
Good friends, good times, a loved oneAaas touch. \
\
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief\
DonAaat lengthen it now with undue grief.\
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee\
God wanted me now; To set me free.\

Never before in my life have I met someone who is as friendly and fun loving as Steve. We will always miss the way he made us smile. The canoe trips will also stand out in memory. Most of all we will miss the way he would do anything for you without question. He will always live on in my heart, just like a brother.

Steve was a great co-worker, as well as a great friend. I only knew him for a year and a half, but I shared the same office, and worked right with him for the last 6 months. He was a man of great character, who will be missed greatly by many people whom's life he has touched.\
His family and life-long friends should be extremely proud of the life he lived.\
