Obituary of Daniel Trumphour

Of Mt. Morris, age 67, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Bob Taylor will officiate with cremation to follow after service. Family will greet friends Sunday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Daniel was born November 13, 1940 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Phyllis (Goodman) Trumphour. He attended many reunions and was a member of the Deaf Association of Flint. Dan worked for the Lapeer County Press for over 42 1/2 years. He enjoyed crocheting, watching Ohio State football games and traveling to Florida, Texas, and Ohio collecting shirts, and sweatshirts along the way. Dan enjoyed raising flowers and he had an outstanding greenhouse for many years. He is survived by sister, Judy R. and husband Ron Tody of Goodrich, brother, Richard Trumphour of Swartz Creek, two nieces; Rachel and Stephanie, two nephews; Mark and Matthew, uncle, Richard (Helen) Goodman, aunt, Betty Beckley, close friends; David Clay and Phyllis, Jerry and Pat Cicalo.
