To the family of Cole Andre,\
I am also a full time student a MTSU. I just preached my grandmothers funeral about 3 weeks ago, the awesome thing was knowing that she is now in Heaven with the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ. I just want you to know that I am praying for your family. God has a plan and a purpose for everything. We don't always know what it is, but in the end we'll know all about it! God Bless you guys! \
Love in Christ,\

I pray that God comforts you in this time. I had english with Cole my freshmen year. We both actually contributed our opinions to class. Your son was a gentleman and I pray that God would hold you up during this time. I lost two of my close family members to an unexpected automobile accident caused by a tractor trailer and have experienced such pain. More than I, God experienced the lost of his only Son and knows the pain that you are experiencing and is here for you with arms open wide. Your family will be in my prayers and thoughts during this time. It is funny because I do not remember many people from my freshmen english class, but your son was so polite and well spoken that I remember him even after class. \
\
May God keep and protect you.\

"God does not give you the people you want. He gives you the people you need. People to touch you, to teach you, to LOVE you, to hurt you. He gives you the people you need to make you exactly who you're meant to be."\
\
I knew Cole barely a year, but he defintely made an impact on my life. He had a way of making people smile, especially when they were in need of it. I think about him often, miss him more everyday, and wish I could have known him longer. Words cannot make these difficult times any better, but I can offer a prayer everyday that he continues to watch over us for the rest of our lives until we see him again.\

Cole left a big impression with me. \
As server for our local Murfreesboro Noon Rotary Club, during my term\
as President, Cole was a light of personality and charm as he provided\
exceptional service for us at the Stones River Country Club.\
As father of the Bride on July 28, 2007, Cole performed exceptional\
customer service during my daughters wedding.\
Following the accident, I was asked to address our Noon Rotary Club\
to share the loss and the opportunity to express my pride in the\
young man that I will always remember.

When we lose a loved one for whatever reason it is stressful. Please reflect on God's word that he has given us thru the Bible. I hope you can find comfort in reading these scriptures at Acts 24:15 and Revelation 21:4. Also please read Ecclesiastes 9:11. My prayers are with your family at this most difficult time in your life.

My family are students at MTSU and read on the message system that your son was involved in a fatal accident. Our compassion is with you during this trying and impossible time. As an English master's student, I find comfort in the words of John Donne who wrote this poem several centuries ago:\
\
DEATH be not proud, though some have called thee\
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not so,\
For, those, whom thou think'st, thou dost overthrow,\
Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill me.\
From rest and sleepe, which but thy pictures bee,\
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,\
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,\
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.\
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,\
And dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell,\
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleepe as well,\
And better then thy stroake; why swell'st thou then;\
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,\
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.\
\
He speaks to Death to let it know that after one short sleep we wake eternally to be with our savior...and death shall be no more. \
My family did not know your son, but we feel deeply saddened by your loss here on this earth. Be at peace knowing that your son lives on without fear and without pain for we have a compassionate and loving God who is taking care of him. May God keep you close and give you peace in this time of despair. Sincerely, The Selbys.

Cheri and I wanted to express our condolences to Cole's family and loved ones. We always loved seeing Cole whenever we had the opportunity. He was always the one that would break out the washers game at family functions and thats how I remember him. I know he loved life and he will be missed in this one. This lyric always comes to mind when a tragedy like this occurs:\
\
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why\
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time\
\
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.\
I hope you had the time of your life.\
