Obituary of David Brian Murgas

Of Flint, age 55, died Saturday, April 26, 2008 at his residence. The funeral service will take place at 1:00pm, Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. DaveAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30am until 9:00pm, and again on Wednesday from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dave was born February 9, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George and Patricia (Macham) Murgas. He loved music, especially Jimmy Hendrix and even attended college for music, including a semester at Notre Dame where he focused on music composition and also U of M Flint. Dave was an avid trap and skeet shooter. He worked for General Motors for over 33 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving fiance, Dawn Seeley; brother, Dale (Sonya) Murgas; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends, including his best friend, Dale (Phyllis) Wray.
