What a dear, sweet, loving lady Carol was to all who knew here while she was here in Paris. I was blessed that she lived three doors down from my mother at the Pshigoda Foundation housing. She was a consummate friends, caregiver, and one so easy to love. Her compassion for other lived out in her life daily as I knew when she was in town, she would stop in once or twice a day to brighten my mother's day. Sometimes it was just to visit, often it was to share something she cooked, and always a kind word. We visited with Carol a few times after mom's death and I even had a chance to speak to her at the assisted living a time or two. As an only child, you will never know the comfort it was to know mom was surrounded with wonderful friends like Carol and she shared her love with us as well. I'm sure she and mom are now catching up on the last 10 years and talking about family and renewing their friendship. With deepest sympathy and thankfulness, Derald & Lesa Bulls Paris, TX

To all my step-brothers and your families: thank you for sharing Carol with us for almost 31 years. She was a kind and loving step-mom to us and a wonderful wife to our dad. We got lots of great recipes from her; she was a great cook! We loved to play 42 and Hand & Foot with her. I love her and miss her. Love, Jeannine & Stan Shaw
