Lloyd L. Lefler 1919-2008 Of Mt. Morris, age 89, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. The service will take place at 11:00am, Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends Sunday from 10am until 2pm and from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Genesys Hospice Care Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Lloyd was born January 7, 1919 in Gibson Township, Michigan, the son of Will and Ollie (Babcock) Lefler. He married Irene Sari on July7, 1947. Lloyd retired from AC Spark Plug after 35 years of service. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Irene, son Jimmy (Rebecca) Lefler of Otisville, daughter Marlene Bolla of California, grandchildren Anthony (Janice) Lefler, Vincent (Evelyn) Aro, Jason Lefler, Christopher Olmstead and Marlena (Matthew) Probst. He also leaves his 3 great-grandsons Trevor, Forrest and Gauge, along with his foster brother and close friend James (Beverly) Theodore. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law John Bolla. The family would like to thank the staff at Genesys Hospice Care Center for the outstanding care given to Lloyd during his short stay with them.
