Obituary of Harley L. Tedford

Of Vassar, age 73, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at his residence. Harley was born October 15, 1934 in Sandusky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester and Irene (Gates) Tedford. Harley and Walla Beth Enos were united in marriage on December 19, 1951.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Walla Beth; children, Laurene (Gary) Sabo, Jean (Don) James and Donna Tedford; grandchildren: Daniel, Jennifer (David), Troy (Lisa), Chad (Tricia) and Tiffany (Lonnie); great-grandchildren: Hunter, Megan, Andy, David and Cash. Siblings: Gordon (Donna) Tedford, Shirley (Dell) Willson, Don Tedford, Keith (Shirley) Tedford and Marilyn (Buck) Campbell.
Harley was preceded in death by his two sons, an infant at birth and Michael. Also, brother, Jerry and parents, Lester (Bus) and Irene.
The funeral service will take place Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Rev. James Payne will officiate with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. HarleyAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
