Obituary of Leonard Koch

Of Mt. Morris, age 76, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Jim James will officiate with cremation to follow. LeonardAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm, and again on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Heritage United Church of Christ. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Leonard was born May 8, 1932 in Davison, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Anna (Meier) Koch. He and Jolan Csepke were united in marriage August 18, 1984 in Flint. He worked at AC Spark Plug for 30 years, retiring in 1981. Leonard was very active in his church, the Heritage United Church of Christ and also loved wood carving. Leonard leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jolan; son, Sandor and wife Dora Csepke; four grandchildren, Gloria, Sheila, Peter Leonard, and Sandor, and many special neighbors, and friends at church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
