We are so sorry for your loss. I have been praying for your family. My Dad and Mom loved Nick like their son and we are all deeply grieved by his passing. Though he is no longer with us, we have to try and remember the good times and know that he is in a better place and no one can ever hurt him again. My heartfelt condolences go out to Nick's family. I can only imagine the depth of your sorrow and feelings of loss. I did not know Nick, but my son Garrett Landes, played football with him and was very saddened to hear of his untimely passing. Everyday that passes, we as parents hope this will not happen to us - it is unthinkable, and yet it happens - a treasured child is lost. I hope it brings some comfort to know that many other parents will keep you in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days, weeks and months. I hope your memories of a son who was well liked and lived his life doing what he valued, will be of comfort to you. Faith and family will get you through this difficult time. Again, my deepest condolences.

I am so very sorry for a loss that is so difficult to comprehend. I did not know Nick, but my son Garrett Landes played football with him and was very saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I can not imagine the grief the parents must endure, but I hope they know I will be thinking of them, as will anyone who has, and loves a child. We all pray we will be spared this pain, but from day to day we never know. I hope the fact that Nick was so well liked and lived his life doing what he loved will hold some comfort.
