Obituary of Linda Lou Butler

Of Mt. Morris, age, 58, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 25, 2008 at Miles Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Sikes officiating. Burial will take place 2:30 pm Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday 9:00am until 8:00pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00pm. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to the Cancer Treatment Center of America. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Linda was born June 6, 1950 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Norma (Weathers) Crowell. She and George Butler were united in marriage September 9, 1987 in Burton. Linda retired in 2008 from Delphi after 30 years of service and was a member of Local 651. She enjoyed camping, bingo, casinos, puzzles, shopping and traveling. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, George Butler; children, Brian Cummings of Otisville, Shelly Cummings of Genesee, Leonard Butler of Davison, Christina Mills of Davison and David Cummings of Flint; grandchildren, Sabrina, Zachary, Larry, Luke, Ashley and Miranda; sisters, Violet Crowell, Marcella Sneed and Bertha Martin and many nieces and nephews.
