Of Mt. Morris Township, age 68, died at home, surrounded by her family, Thursday, August 28, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, August 30, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00pm. On Friday afternoon, family friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 3:30pm. On Saturday morning, Leah will be taken to church where she will lie in state from 10:00am until time of Mass at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to the St Mary Catholic Church, for the St. Joseph's Room Coffee and Donuts or Avalon Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and at church.
Leah was born March 15, 1940 in Rogers City, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Laurina Rubeo. She and Quinton Lee Page were united in marriage July 11, 1964. She was a part in the St. Joseph Room coffee and donut program, at St. MaryAaas with her son Tony.
Leah leaves to cherish her memory three children: Maria Marshall, Theresa Page, and Tony Page, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Donna and husband William Scott, and brother Terry and wife Mary Rubeo, brother in law Lloyd Page, and sister in law Judy Ricketts, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Quinton, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
