Obituary of Ann Gleeson

GLEESON, ANN age 61 of Vassar died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Tender Care in Frankenmuth. Ann was born May 17, 1947 in Saginaw, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferrer and Sophie Piazza. She and Michael Gleeson were united in marriage on October 26, 1968. She was employed with DA Johnston Construction Company in Vassar for over 20 years. Ann leaves to cherish her memory her husband Mike, son Steve and wife Tracy Gleeson, and daughter Stacy Gleeson, two grandchildren: Jenna and Trevor Gleeson, father Ferrer Piazza, sister in law Jean and husband Ralph Seitz, brother in law Don and wife Janet Gleeson, uncle and aunt Eber and Claudia Barnes, and many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 6, 2008 at 11:00am at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar, with cremation to follow. AnnAaas family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Saturday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm. On Sunday evening family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 7:00pm. On Monday, Ann will be taken to church where she will lie in state from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be made to the Vassar Athletic Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home and at church.
