Obituary of Luella Mae Brownson

Of Mt. Morris, age 84, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Hyde Park Assisted Living in Flushing. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Doug Klein will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. LuellaAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Luella was born April 19, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert and Evelyn (Harrison) Richards. She and Archie Brownson were united in marriage on May 9, 1942. Luella leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Phyllis Wiecorek; grandchildren, Rick (Debbie) Wiecorek, Michael Brownson and Scott (Mary) Brownson; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Crystal Wiecorek and sister; Annabelle (Claude) Schultz. Luella is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie; son, Phillip; brothers, Gilbert and Robert and sister, Beverly.
