Obituary of Ruben Weber

Of Richville, age 85, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. Ruben was born October 6, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian and Emma (Bierlein) Weber. Ruben was married on June 16, 1951 to Kathleen Bender. He was employed by Weber Lumber for 44 years and was also very active for over 30 years with the Richville Little League. Ruben leaves to cherish his memory his children; Patrick R. Weber, Steven M. Weber, Lori Ross, Judy (Randy) Humpert, Terri Weber and Susan Tetil; former wife, Kathleen Weber; grandchildren, Matthew (Raelene), Jessica, Brandon (Katrina), Kelly and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Haylee and Benjaman; brother, Raymond (Dorothy) Weber and sister, Irma Rittmueller. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arnold (Freida)Weber and Wilbur (Lorna) Weber; sister; Elenor (Nick) Radina and brother-in-law Gilbert Rittmueller. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Richville. Pastor Robert Gadeken will officiate with burial to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Ruben's family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home - Vassar on Monday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. On Tuesday morning, Ruben will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Richville American Legion or the Alzhemier's Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
