Obituary of Roxanne Marie Burke

Of Clio, age 38, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, November 21, 2008, at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Hilliard Shackford will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park . Roxanne's family will be present to recieve friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Roxanne was born August 28, 1970 in Traverse City, Michigan. She was married to William Burke. Roxanne was a graduate of Montrose High School, class of 1988 and would go on to attend Cosmetology School. She was a loving wife and mother who also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, scrapbooking, making people laugh, shopping with her friends and all types of music. She will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William, two children; a son, Kevin, and a daughter, Courtney, parents; Lee and wife Kathy Ferris, brother, Paul and wife Barbara Meeker, father and mother-in-law, Frank and Linda Burke, three sisters-in-law; Leann, Ann and April, brother-in-law, Keith, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and lifelong friend, Michelle Hetzer.
