Obituary of William Thomas Lewis

Of Vassar, age 61, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his home. A prayer service will be led by Mr. Brian Myers at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. William was born November 28, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Betty (Boivin) Lewis. William was a graduate of Vassar High School the class of 1969. He went to Houghton Tech for Engineering and was employed at Fisher Body for 18 years. He was also an Installer/Contractor for Telecommunications. William enjoyed socializing with his friends, fishing and hunting, golfing, gardening and working in the yard, having lunch with his mother and family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his children; William (Terra Jo) Lewis and Kristina Juarez; mother Betty J. Kochalka, grandchildren; Alexis and Maiya Juarez; William and Thomas Lewis, Elly and Jacen Torres; brother Ronald Lewis and sisters Linda (Dan) Fowler, Connie (John) Huizar, Diane (Tom) Kanyok, and Kim (Tim) Kern and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his father William Junior Lewis and step father Donald Kochalka and brother Baby Boy Lewis.
