To the Butler Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you be comforted by the memories of your loved one and know that he is rejoicing in Heaven at this moment. I think of your family with fond remembrance as I recall my childhood and those long ago days at the Genesee Avenue Free Methodist Church. Mr. Butler, growing up I remember you as the nicest, kindest person that I ever knew. You were always cheerful and funny. Thank you for the rides to school in the freezing cold when I never wore my boots. Always with a smile you would say" come on Judy get in the car." I loved you for that and never forgot it. Thank you for letting me tag along to church. You were the most decent human being. Until I see you again.

Thank you Grandpa for those exciting trips to Tawas. The trips with me and Frankie are some of the most memorable memories I have growing up. Also, thank you for building my closet in my bedroom so me and Davie had somewhere to put our cloths. Most importantly, I would like to thank you for all those times we talked about the Bible.
