Obituary of Paul Gibbs

Of Mt. Morris, age 59, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Avalon Hospice. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the family. Paul was born August 6, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Thelma (Berry) Gibbs, Sr. He and Jackie Smith were united in marriage April 1, 1972. Paul enjoyed hunting, working on small engines, his guitar, and being with his family. He will be remembered for his laughter, stubborn opinion, quick wit, kind heart, and integrity. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Paul leaves to cherish his memory wife of 40 years, Jackie; three daughters, Lisa and husband, Joe Buska, Dawn and husband, Frank Watson, and Linda and finace, John Wainio; son, Paul and wife, Becky Gibbs; sister, Charlene Dellinger; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tracey Marie Amore; and two sisters, Gloria and Faith.
