Obituary of Wallis L Hendrickson

Of Flint, age 78, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Brian's House Hospice. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 10:00 am, Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Flint. Pastor Randy Schultz will officiate. Private burial will take place at a later date. Family will receive friends at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Friday, from 9:00 am until time of memorial service at 10:00 am. Wallis was born August 12, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Amy (Sandgren) Hendrickson. He and Fran Rosenburg were united in marriage in March 18, 1964. Wallis was an active and faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and helped with the Tuesday Property Board. Left to cherish his memory, sister, Geraldine Lindell, of Royal Oak; nieces, Leslie (Jack) Lynch, of Troy, and Louise Reza, of Royal Oak; friends and caregivers, Mike Keipinger, Kevin Lane and Tom and Jan Roberts; his church family from Our Savior Lutheran Church of Flint; and a host of other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Fran.
