Obituary of Joshua Robert Bock

Of Flint, age 27, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at home. Cremation has taken place, private burial will be held. A Life Celebration will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Josh's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be considered to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Josh was born May 26, 1985, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Carrie (Perkins) Bock. He is a 2003 graduate of Kearsley High School. Josh enjoyed playing poker, spoiling his nieces and watching sports. Left to cherish his memory, parents Dennis and Carrie Bock; great aunt, Dorri Springer and Hank; sister, Emily and husband, Donald Lannon; two nieces, Callie and Lillie; several aunts and uncles; cousins Kyle and Kirk Perkins; special friend, David Mosier; and many other friends. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Shirley Bock; and grandma, Lil Perkins.
