Of Fairgrove, age 93, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at home. The funeral service will take place 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Pastor Richard Lawther will officiate with burial to follow in Wisner Township Cemetery with graveside Military Honors conducted by Fairgrove VFW Post #7486. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions to the Fairgrove VFW Post #7486, McLaren Visiting Nurses, Fairgrove Presbyterian Church or American Legion Post #0421. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Harold was born December 12, 1918, in Unionville, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Angeline (Reynolds) Causley. He and Joanne Crosby were united in marriage November 2, 1940.
Harold proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Fairgrove VFW Post #7486 and American Legion Post #0421 of Unionville. Harold owned and operated Causley Trucking and currently served as chairman of the board. He served on the Board of Governers of Michigan Trucking Associaion, president and permanent advisory board of the equipment and maintenance division of the MTA and past president of Michigan Branch of National Star Route Mail Contractors Association.
Left to cherish his memory is wife of 71 years, Joanne;
five children; Annette and husband George Rieck,

Diane Chosay,
Greg Causley,
Shelly and husband Greg Marner,
15 grandchildren;
17 1/2 great-grandchildren;
5 great great-grandchildren;
brother, Orie Causley,
sister, Mary Ann Causley,
brother-in-law, Lynn and wife Ruth Cramer,
two sisters-in-law, Joyce Benson and Jane Meyer,
many nieces, nephews and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two sons-in-law; Ronald Fylling and James Chosay and three brothers; Louis, Jr., Roy and Gerald.
