Obituary of Eva A. Bowles

Age 87 of Flint, formerly of Mt. Morris, died on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Adagio Assisted Living. Per Eva's wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial of cremated remains will be held this summer at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Eva was born June 20, 1926, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royce and Anna (Loomis) Maxwell. She and Brian Bowles were united in marriage on February 21, 1959, in Flint, Michigan. Eva worked for AC Spark Plug, retiring with 30 years of service. She was a member of the UAW # 651 and the American Legion # 64 Ladies Auxiliary. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Brian; three children, Kathleen Scharchburg, Denise and husband, Tom Huffman, and Arthur and wife, Irene Sauve; six grandchildren, Micah and Noah Scharchburg, Daniel and wife, Trina Sowden, Mathew Jacob, Stephanie and husband, Brian Walton and Mark Sauve; three great-grandchildren, Kalen, Isabelle and Caleb; sister, Shirley and husband, Jerry Willis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Max and Roy Maxwell; and one sister, Margaret Daley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Medical Team Hospice for all of the wonderful care and support.
