Obituary of Shirley Motter

age 75, of Mt. Morris , died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday, April 10, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends 4:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday, 9:00am - 9:00pm Sunday and 10:00am until time of the service on Monday. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Shirley was born March 8, 1931 in Mt. Morris, Michigan daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Floyd and Beatrice (Larkin) Adams. She and William L. Motter were united in marriage on December 6, 1952 in Mt. Morris, Michigan. She enjoyed traveling, working puzzles, playing black jack, going to casinos and taking a yearly trip to Vegas with William for many years. Shirley also loved being with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Kathy (Jim) Noyce, Judy (Pat) Nordlund, Linda (Sue) Motter, Melissa Hinman;\ Eight grandchildren, Traci Noyce, Amy (Michelle) Haller, Dani (Jamie) Bunn, Bill (Emily) Hinman, Katie, Steve & Ron Hinman Trish (Scott) Engelke; eight great grandchildren, Hannah, Annalise & Baily Engelke, Mercedes Bunn, Steven & Aiden Hinman, Brandy & Amber Chambers,; sister, Patricia Adams, brother Floyd "Buda (Wanda) Adams; numerous nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William L. Motter, sister, Maxine McIntyre, brother Stanley "Tima Adams and nephew Daniel Adams. \
